The Northshore is an ideal spot for trail runners. With two local clubs that emphasize trail running (GAC and Team Gloucester), numerous running trails, and trail races nearly every month of the year, what else could a trail runner ask for?

At New England Running Company we make sure to address trail runner's needs. We have an extensive selection of trail shoes, and carry trail specific apparel and socks.

There's usually no such thing as a water drop on a 20 mile trail run; we have a variety of trail-ready hydration systems to keep you properly fueled and hydrated when you're going to be out there for a while.

Our staff are familiar with many of the local running trails and are happy to help you find places to run, people to run with, or give you some tips if you're just starting to run off-road.
