The registration for the first race in the 2012 North Shore Trail Series is OPEN!!!! This is a beautiful course that includes both single and double track trails and takes place in West Newbury. Hilly….maybe. But at least it’s only a 5K so how bad can it be! Check out the Trail Series page on our site for the link to register.

Liam and Bill have graciously allowed us to include the Stonetower race in the NSTS and we’re very excited about this incredibly challenging course! Salomon is really helping out this year and will have demo’s at most of the races along with some other surprises. This is going to be an awesome series and we thank all of you for helping make the first two years of the NSTS so successful.

With the snow falling we should be reminded that it is indeed mid-January. We are fully stocked with winter apparel, accessories, and snowshoes. Don’t let the snow keep you from running outside!!!

Wicked Frosty Four Packet Pickup

We will be hosting the pre-race packet pickup for the Wicked Frosty Four this Saturday from 9:30 AM till 5 PM. I believe beverages will be served throughout the day as well! On a side-note, we will be closed on Sunday, New Year’s Day to celebrate Natalie Lassen’s first birthday!!!

Holiday Store Hours

We will be open for extended hours this upcoming Thursday (12/22) and Friday (12/23) from 9 AM till 8 PM. On Christmas Eve we will be open 9 AM till 5 PM and from 9:30 AM till 5 PM on New Year’s Eve.

2011 NSTS Scoring is Complete!!!!

All the numbers have been tabulated and the scores for the NSTS are done…FINALLY!!!! Congratulations to Amy Blondin for winning the Women’s Overall title and to Dan Verrington for capturing the Men’s title. We look forward to seeing everybody here on Monday night. Thank you to everyone who participated in the series.

This past Saturday the final race of the 2011 NSTS was run in Ipswich, The Stonecat Trail Marathon. The NSTS Awards Night will be held on Monday, November 14th at 7 PM here at New England Running Company. Congrats to Patrick Rich…Winner of the 2011 Cape Cod Marathon!!!

Hamilton resident, Pat Rich, won the 2011 Cape Cod Marathon yesterday with a time of 2:28:54!!! This race was run in very windy conditions which makes his time even more impressive. Great job out there Pat…it must have been the shoes!!!
