This Wednesday, May 2nd, the Salomon Trail Tour will be here from Noon till 6 PM. At 6 PM we will be heading over to the trails behind Gordon College for a group trail run. We will have plenty of great Salomon trail running shoes for you to test out. Check out our FB page for more details on the Salomon Trail Tour. There is no need to RSVP for this event.

With the weather looking like it’s going to be a little bit toasty on Monday please remember to hydrate properly. Also, do not get too worked up about the weather…it’s the one thing you cannot control so as long as you’ve done your part with training properly you will do great. We have plenty of singlets and shorts should you need some new gear for race day.

Spring has sprung at New England Running Company…New Arrivals

We have been receiving shipments everyday chock full of new Spring items. We are pleased to announce that we are carrying The North Face this Spring…in particular the “Better than Naked” line of apparel. Also, we just opened up some fresh boxes of the brand new Asics Nimbus 14. This version is quite a bit lighter than last years and a bit faster feeling.

Dick Beardsley will be here on April 11th!!!!

In an event sponsored by New Balance, Boston Marathon legend Dick Beardsley will be here at New England Running Company on Wednesday, April 11th. Mr. Beardsley will be signing his book (and posters) from 3:30 PM till 5:30 PM. After a short break he will be back to do a formal presentation and tell his story from 7 PM till 8 PM. Refreshments and appetizers will be served. Due to limited seating please RSVP to wes@nerunningco.com or call us at 978-922-8870.

Greenbelt’s 2012 Pipestave Hill 5K Trail Run registration is open

The registration for the first race in the 2012 North Shore Trail Series is OPEN!!!! This is a beautiful course that includes both single and double track trails and takes place in West Newbury. Hilly….maybe. But at least it’s only a 5K so how bad can it be! Check out the Trail Series page on our site for the link to register.

Liam and Bill have graciously allowed us to include the Stonetower race in the NSTS and we’re very excited about this incredibly challenging course! Salomon is really helping out this year and will have demo’s at most of the races along with some other surprises. This is going to be an awesome series and we thank all of you for helping make the first two years of the NSTS so successful.

The snow is here finally and so are the winter goodies…

With the snow falling we should be reminded that it is indeed mid-January. We are fully stocked with winter apparel, accessories, and snowshoes. Don’t let the snow keep you from running outside!!!

Wicked Frosty Four Packet Pickup

We will be hosting the pre-race packet pickup for the Wicked Frosty Four this Saturday from 9:30 AM till 5 PM. I believe beverages will be served throughout the day as well! On a side-note, we will be closed on Sunday, New Year’s Day to celebrate Natalie Lassen’s first birthday!!!

Holiday Store Hours

We will be open for extended hours this upcoming Thursday (12/22) and Friday (12/23) from 9 AM till 8 PM. On Christmas Eve we will be open 9 AM till 5 PM and from 9:30 AM till 5 PM on New Year’s Eve.

We sell gift certificates in any denomination so come on in and save time and some brain power. If you don’t live in the area you can always order them over the phone and have them sent to the recipient(s).
