New England Running Company Staff: Jill Page
A runner since the age of 12, Jill began competing at the Briscoe Middle School in Beverly. She credits her coach, Dave Farrar, with giving her the confidence to compete and inspiring a great love of cross country running.
She went on to compete at Beverly High School in Cross Country, Indoor, and Outdoor track. She ran Division III at Salem State College. Under the guidance of coach Steve Czcarmecki, she was able to obtain a 7th place all star MASCAC finish in cross country. She earned all ECAC honors with a 6th place finish in the 10,000 meters.
Jill presently coaches the Beverly Briscoe Middle School Cross Country Team. She is most proud of the fact that 100+ runners compete for the Briscoe team. She feels it is a privelege to coach and most rewarding to see the children achieve their personal goals, gain confidence, and build lasting friendships. Moreover, she has always been blessed with great coaches and hopes she can inspire children of all athletic abilities to run. It's a great life-long sport!
Jill is a member of the North Shore Striders running club. She also helps her husband, Mike Page, direct the Louise Rossetti 5k Race for Women. Jill continues to be an avid runner, logging 30-40 miles/week. She hopes to compete this fall at local races.
